I agree, to a point.


But our VT teams were so weak the needed the pitchers to give up almost no earned runs every time out in order to have a chance to win.

We had one of the best pitchers ever in softball history, Angela Tincher, yet at the WS, VT lost two straight, and we were out of the tournament. Just think what Angela could have done, if we would have had just an average offense.

Scott has never fielded a team that could hit. Not the long ball, nor one that could score with a "punch and Judy" offense.
